Friability

Friability tester evaluates the mechanical strength of tablets by measuring their resistance to abrasion and breakage. Tablets are placed in a rotating drum that repeatedly lifts and drops them over a fixed period and rotation count. After testing, the tablets are reweighed to determine mass loss, expressed as a percentage of initial weight.
